After twenty years plus within the retail industry, I’m enormously excited at the prospect of the position that R³ has found for me! Unlike competitor Recruitment specialists it genuinely felt as if Andy and the team were working for me and attending to my interests every bit as much as those of the company. The whole process with Tom at R³ was very quick indeed, from start to finish in about a week! An initial email was the first port of call, and then Tom followed it up with a telephone call. He was very precise and straight to the point, (unlike other recruiters who beat around the bush with regards to the employer's name) which made it easy for me. The call came on a Monday and I was being interviewed by the Friday morning – by lunchtime I had a call from Tom letting me know that I was successful. Of course I said yes, and here I am at Screwfix as Store Manager. I have already recommended a friend to Tom, and they have been in touch – I am hopeful that Tom can direct him, as he directed me.

I thought Andy and R³ were very professional in matching my requirements and profile to my current job role with CBS Outdoor (formerly Viacom). Andy was excellent in terms of communication during the process, clearly making sure both sides were clear on expectations as well as the housekeeping side of meeting times, returning calls etc both during and after my getting the role. In particular, I was impressed that Andy stayed in regular contact after I accepted the new role, and continually checked in with me to make sure all was going well.

In terms of my experience dealing with R³ and particularly Paul and Tom I would say that I was very pleased with their support.
