A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an established retail manager, to join a leading High Street Fashion Retailer in the Manchester area. This Fashion Retailer takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, availability and people development. They have stores across the UK and are growing its store portfolio at a rapid rate.
This is what youll be doing as the Department Manager:
You will be assisting the management team with the responsibility for the store, its staff, bottom line profits, service and compliance.
You will be assisting the management team with all operational, stock, customer service, staff training development issues and store initiatives.
You will be managing a team of up to 30 people and a turnover up to 5 million per year.
You will be fully accountable for driving sales and exceeding profit targets.
You will be helping the Store Manager to implement business plans and communicating targets, objectives to the team.
You will be a role model for the team and lead by example.
What we are looking for in you as a Department Manager:
Ideally you will have a wealth of Management experience in a high volume, and service-led retail environment.
A strong background in people, customer service and operations management, coupled with a truly passionate, hands on approach.
You will be a quick thinker and able to think outside the box.
You will be very commercially aware, well organised and thrive to achieve results through your fantastic strategic planning and selling techniques followed by outstanding customer service.
Ideally you will be a Store Manager within a small store but this is not essential.
