A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an established Deputy Manager, to join a leading discount retailer in the Catford area. As a Retailer we take pride in delivering excellent customer service, availability and people development. We have stores across the UK and are growing our store portfolio at a rapid rate.
As an Deputy Manager what you'll be doing:
- You will be assisting the Store Manager in the responsibility for the store, its staff, bottom line profits, service and compliance.
- You will be assisting the Store Manager for all operational, stock, customer service, staff training development issues and store initiatives.
- You will be managing a team of up to 15 people and a turnover up to £25k per week.
- You will be fully accountable for driving sales and exceeding profit targets.
- You will be helping the Store Manager to implement business plans and communicating targets, objectives to the team.
As an Assistant Manager what we are looking for in you:
- Ideally you will have a wealth of experience at an Assistant Management level within a high volume, service-led and fast paced retail environment.
- You will have a very hand's on approach to work and enjoy getting stuck in to the job at hand.
- A strong background in people, customer service and operations management, coupled with a truly passionate attitude to achieve results.
- Applicants from supermarkets, discount stores and other large out of town retail units have been most successful in this environment.
- Deputy, Department managers, team leader, Supervisors from large out of town retailers will also be considered.
